Hannah recently joined Quay Chambers as a barrister sole. She specialises in professional discipline, healthcare litigation and criminal defence.
In 2012, Hannah began her career in criminal law, working for a prominent defence barrister, Ron Mansfield. She gained excellent experience working for a range of clients on a variety of different criminal matters.
From 2015, Hannah worked for Harry Waalkens QC primarily in the medico-legal arena. She has assisted many professional clients in responding to patient complaints, enquiries from regulatory authorities, and in dealing with disciplinary processes. She also has experience in privacy law and general civil litigation.
She has appeared on matters in the District Court, High Court, and Court of Appeal, and before the Health Practitioners Disciplinary Tribunal, Teachers Disciplinary Tribunal, Parole Board and the Human Rights Review Tribunal.
Hannah is based in Auckland, but is available to act on matters across New Zealand. She is also admitted to the Tongan Bar and able to take instructions from Tongan Law Practitioners.
